Designed as a party-sized prepared mix that's packed full of essence of the festive period, which makes it perfect for hosting a holiday party. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup you can use for breakfast cocktails, puddings, or for more rounds of the drink.

To make the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Cocktail (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Method
To prepare the Cordial: Place the listed items inside a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, remove from the burner and let it to cool down entirely. Transfer to a clean bottle, close it keeping it in the fridge, where it will keep for around a month.
To make Batch Mix: Pour every liquid ingredients into one sizeable container, allow it to infuse for an hour, then filter it best through muslin, making it perfectly clear.
For serving: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base into a mixing glass filled with ice, gently stirring gently for one minute to cool it down. Pour to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with some cranberries and finish by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
